I put this simple program together a while back that calculates the apex-to-apex diameter using standard flat-to-flat measurements and the reverse.

Apex to Apex Calculator

Flat to Flat is the user input diameter of the rod.

Sides is the number of sides the rod has (really only 4 & 6 work properly, though you'll get a number that is somewhat close for Pentas rolleyes.gif).

Modifier is there to compensate for corners that are slightly rounded. I've found, empirically, that after sanding, etc., my apex to apex dimensions are usually 2-3% smaller than calculated, hence the modifier. Change this to 100% if you want non-modified dimensions.

Pretty neat Chris!
You ought to pin it!
Now perhaps you should include an averager (is that a word?) for those of us who sometimes dont have all three flat-to-flat measurements quite the same? whistling1.gif
LOL, Thanks for the work!
