Built my very first rod. Its a 5' quad construction. .30 welding wires copper coated.
Im still waiting on the reel seat and tennis wrap for the handle.

I'm working on a fly rod but just with 2 strips instead of the quad form. But after doing the 5'er, im gettin the hang of it so it'll get much better.

I hastily went to test it at a nearby pond. It got stuck on some branches. I kept pulling and jerking, then SNAPPED! its broken!
