Title says all, tried a few searches but can't find anything? I've seen some nice rods in the Showcase with invisible wraps. I'm thinking about doing this, ok I want invisible wraps on my next rod. How do I do it? Light white thread or something?

How well do the wraps hold up? Just as good as regular wrapping? Would it be ok to do this on a 7 wt?

It is regular wrapping. On bamboo, most builders use silk. On graphite, you can get the same/similar effect using white nylon. Of course, there's no reason why you can't use silk on a graphite rod....
