I am about 5 months away from retirement (or semi-retirement anyway) and have been looking to get back into building rods. I have built a 4 wt St. Croix that gets a lot of use and has become my favorite rod. I am considering trying to build rods professionally (i.e. selling them for profit), but more of hobby business than a making a living business. I have already been reading some of the posts and I like the attitude and friendliness on the board. Look forward to learning from and hopefully contributing to the boards.
