A few days ago, I attempted to upload a couple of pics following the directions given in the Rod Showcase sticky. The upload appeared to be sucessful but I can no longer access the Photo Gallery. I have also tried it at work to rule out my 'puter being at fault. In both cases, I get an error msg that reads Warning - Cannot modify header info... etc. I certainly hope that I'm not to blame if the site is in trouble. Someone please tell me that I missed an instruction!!

Nope. Don't use the program here on RBF. do this....

Open up an account with photobucket, picasa or one of the others out there. It's for free.....my kind of price
Now, take the picture and load it onto photobucket. Run the mouse over the picture and little windows open on the bottom of the pic. right click on the last one--I think it's the fourth one. A window will ask you if you want to copy it. Then go to this site while it's open(keep both sites open) and left click on the cursor. The pic will come up with a ton of letters and numbers but when you post it, the pic will be there.

Remember to size your pics on photobucket so that this program can handle the size. I think mine is set at 15" Too large and you have to move the picture right to left to see the whole thing and it takes up a hell of a lot of bandwidth----or something like that...What do i know-----

BUT--I did stayat a Howard Johnsons last year sometime.........

Thanks Randy. I don't mind doing it that way but, this is what has me confused. I uploaded the pic in my avitar with no problem. It's when I tried to upload the next that things went south. In case the host or anyone else knows what it means, here is the error message that I get here at home and also at work where I'm not logged in.

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/willmull/public_html/rodbuildingforum/sources/action_public/galleryindex.php on line 115

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/willmull/public_html/rodbuildingforum/sources/action_public/galleryindex.php:115) in /home/willmull/public_html/rodbuildingforum/sources/classes/class_display.php on line 485

The second Warning is repeated several times with each ending in a differant line number. It occurs even when just trying to view the gallery. Any ideas?? Can everyone else access the Photo Gallery okay?
Goduster
It wont let me view it either

We got hacked in about 2 years ago. When they hacked in, they hit all three sites...very bad wallbash.gif This is just a small problem that has surfaced right after that. The man that owns the site (Will) pays for everything out of his pockets for the site. Takes no money shocking.gif A few people sponsor the site but no way is enough to pay for everything.
We feel that we'll just leave it alone for now and go about posting pics with photobucket.

I can appreciate that and do understand the situation. But, why do I get the error msg when I'm trying too look at the gallery? That has nothing to do with uploading anything.
Carlin
I get the exact same error list when I go to look at the gallery. dunno.gif I've let Will know what is going on but I know he is really busy this time of the year so I wouldn't expect a fix right away.

I can look at the gallery just fine. I wonder if when you tried to post it caused a problem on your computer. Keep in mind I know zilch about computers. whistling1.gif

I got an email from Will a few hours ago saying he fixed the problem with viewing the Photo Gallery. wink.gif

Thanks Chris. And be sure to let Will know it's very appreciated! Now I can get my 'fix'. thumbsup.gif
