I finally finished my first build and I'm itching to try it out. I used Flex Coat High Build and the rod has been kept at about 70 degrees. I'm hoping to get out tomorrow afternoon, that will give about 60+ hours of cure time on the guides. I applied the final coat of finish on the hook keeper and decal this afternoon, so about 16 hours or so cure time there. The hook keeper and decal are at the base of the rod and should not flex or be stressed at all. I won't have a chance to get back out until next weekend and really don't want to wait. Do you guys think I'm safe to get out and try it or should I wait until next weekend?
