I am looking into building a 3wt specifically for my local stream. I have seen and read about people making two tips, one tip with better nymphing qualities and one tip with better dry fly qualities. Effectively giving you two slightly different rod feels with the same butt. If you have seen or done this would you suggest a 2 or 3 piece rod. Also what tapers would you reccomend for this type of endevour. Also if anyone out there thinks that a two tip rod is a bad idea don't be afraid to tell me why. Thanks.
