or

Full Version: G.Loomis IMX Slate or Gatti G5?
I have a Loomis IMX Slate in an 8 wt. The tip section is less that strait---more of a slight bow which is not due to gravity. It fishes great and I have used it for bonefish and redfish.
I have not casted either rod in a 4 wt. I only post this as many people will tell you that it is hard to find a Loomis IMX Slate blank that is perfectly strait.

Just curious.
Is it only the tip section that is not straight? If so, in which direction does the tip of your IMX SLATE blank [rod] bow ? Up, down or to one side?
