Silk Fly Line Weight Equivalents

Below is a chart that shows AFTMA line weights and their approximate silk line equivalents. For level lines there is also a line diameter listed.

Also, as you can see, silk lines are rated by diameter. So, a 'D' line is a level .045", while a HDH is a double taper that goes from .025" (H) to .045" (D) to .025" (H).

For reference 1mm = .0394"
