I bought some fish hawk variegated thread and I think it is fine to work with and the color look good but I just received some new parts from mudhole and they included a flyer for prowrap, has anybody tried this stuff and if so could you give your opinions.
Thanks, DTW

I just got some yesterday. Two spools of regular nylon in two shades of blue, and one blue metallic. All three look great on the spool. The regular nylon really shimmers. Almost looks like silk to me. Will be using it soon.

Lane, thanks for the bit of info. Could we see some photos when you do a wrap?

Sure thing. I'm gonna use it really soon on a CTS blank.

Did you ever get this wrapped up? I'm curious on your thoughts.

I wrapped most of the rod last night. The stuff is great! Lays down really well. Burnishes very well. I really like it a lot. I will post some pictures today or tomorrow.

Here's some pictures of some wraps with ProWrap. Blank is a cobalt blue CTS. Thread is ProWrap Blurple size A and Fishhawk Copper metalic. No color preserver. Kinda hard to tell what's going on. Outside in the sun the thread matches the blank very well. Not very translucent though. Can't see the guide feet. Don't know why. Pictures aren't the greatest. I will get some shots before the finish tomorrow.
