Iīll be making a Driggs River 7' 2'' 4 wt taper for a guy who have tried a copy, but heīs asking me ; "How did the Driggs look as an original rod?"

I'm sure there was some variation, but most looks pretty much like the standard Young rod. Mottled flamed cane with copper(ish) thread. Here are a few photos I pirated from Clarks(?) a while back:

well what's mpre important is how does it cast and casts like a dream. drs is a superb taper.
it looks like what you make it look like. mine has red wraps tipped black. classy. |

Thanks for the picīs, Thierry and Chris. Appreciated. They will help the guy alot in his decision in wheather having it as a "copy" or a custom made one.

Ok, thanks for all your input guys. Flamed bamboo with (probably) preserved Antique Gold wraps, all cork grip and reelseat with dual blued sliding rings it is!
