Auger sea lord for first timer restoration project

25 July 2016 - 02:04 AM

I have an "auger sea lord 12/4 63" that i have stripped of all the broken guides and am wanting to restore it with a little bit of a modernised twist. Basically I was wondering if anyone could help me out with finding a decal for it? Or if anyone had any tips for this?

Also I have a bit of a problem regarding what type of rod it is and reel it seats. It's guides originally were on the belly of the rod suggesting it would be used with a multiplier (eyes to the sky) but I'm being told that multiplier rods start with 30mm eye whereas this one has 26mm. And consist of usually 8 or 9 eyes whereas this one is 6 including tip. Because I'm new to it all of this is confusing me slightly lol.

I'm posting this in the restoration section hoping that someone would have some information in the rod in question as I am having trouble deciding what her it is a fixed spool or multi rod.

Would attach pics but it won't let me.
