Does anyone have first hand knowledge of this blank.
The specs are as follows 14'8", ml power, modfast taper, 3/4-3 lure wt., 5.25 blank wt., im6 graphite, $177 cost. These specs are like something out of scifi. A blank this length that weighs only 5.25 ounces and can handle a 3 ounce lure should cost at least twice as much and be made of im8 graphite.
I called anglers warehouse and they told me the specs were correct. I live in Hawaii where we have a class of rod called a menpachi rod. These blanks are 14 ft. long weigh 7-8 ounces, medfast actions and 1-11/2 ounce lure weights. So from my experience a blank that is 2 or 3 ounces lighter and can handle twice the lure wt. and is 8 inches longer is something I have to see to believe.
If someone can confirm these specs please do so. I would also like to know can this blank be used to cast plugs for smaller ulua (jacks 10-20#).

Sorry I got the name of the company wrong. It should read "anglers workshop" everything else in the post is correct.
