ah, you're right. When I googled it the finished rods came up, not the blanks. I went to the homepage of the site and navigated it myself and we're all good. thanks!

I think I am going to turn between centers after I drill the hole.

I appreciate the feedback so far, I am a 100% newbie and your guys' input helped a lot. 

I have the harbor freight lathe. I have most of it figured out except 1 thing. I am going to drill the hole in a blank tonight, but when I look at the mandrel I cant figure out how to keep the mandrel from just spinning. How do you secure the blank to the mandrel?
