I have noticed that is just about impossible to find a sage 9ft, 4 pc salt HD blank in any weight. Is there a reason?? Is Sage discontinuing this rod??

"I tried to buy a blank from them last October. They told me that they were behind with rods because of covid and were concentrating on bringing finished rods to market for now. They said they would restart blanks when they had the completed rod inventory up to date.
Seems like a long time to take though.

The sage website is being updated and all the original rod building info including guide spacing will be going back on to it, in the meantime if anyone wants specific info just email the sage customer services team.

Rod blanks will be available again late summer/ fall 2022."
