Was thinking about split grips on a spin rod with these type of specs:

11'3" | 10-20 lb. | 1/4 - 1 oz. | Mod-Fast Action | Medium-Heavy Power type of rod with 30lb braid?

Are these type of rods ever made with split grips and do they work well?

Tip up or tip down application? That long rod will be significantly top heavy with a split grip and it may be uncomfortable to hold all day if it is used for twitching, for example.

the rod should Ball, close to the reel if it don't you are fighting it all the time an if you do a lot of rod holding  in a  day

you will find out real fast
