Duże Bravo :-)
The grip and reel seat of your 6'9'' look fantastic!

Tell us Rado about an action of garrison taper with a "modern" ferrule, please. How does it feel, do you notice any different?

Regards,
Adam.

Thank you Adam smile.gif I actually made two rods with the same taper (209E) but forgot to take pictures of the second rod. It's too late now..."she"'s already catching trout and graylings somewhere in Italy.. wink.gif Both were equal except the type of flaming. This one on the photos is lightly flamed in (more or less) uniform way, the other was heavily flamed in "tiger strip" pattern. The action is almost the same, the "tiger" beeing a tad quicker.. Comparing them to original Garrison 209E is difficult..as you can imagine I never touched one.. I only made the 209 and 206 with metal ferrules and both were nice but somewhat slower compared to my bamboo ferruled/ hollowed rods..
