Thought I'd pass along a little tip that I use when using my American Tackle wrapper. When working towards the tip end I find it sometimes difficult to rotate the rod by hand as needed. I do this often for positioning or unwrapping to clear an overwrap. The drive wheel of the wrapper is out of my reach and the foot pedal has no reverse of course. To achieve some grip I attach one of those soft, rubber pencil grips found in any Wal-Mart. I place it around the middle of the rod or wherever it fits my reach. I slit it down the length so that I can slip it over the rod. I usually also snip out a small strip to make the center hole smaller for most of my rods. For me, it makes rotating the rod either direction a lot easier. Hope this 10 cent solution is of some help to you.
