Hello! Capt Don from SE Michigan. I run a Fishing Charter for Lake Sturgeon, Walleye and Perch Currently.

I built 3 rods about 15 years ago and am getting back into it. I currently have a Baitcaster Blank that I am trying to figure out where the reel seat and cork go! it gave me measurements for the eyelets but not where the reel seat and split grips go...

Is this a personal preference based on your arm legnth?

Gonna ask in the proper forum but figured I'd mention it here....

Welcome.   Not well versed in baitcasters but there are some that have had many years experience that should be able to help.

Marriage is like a deck of cards- in the beginning, all you need is two hearts and a diamond.  In the end, you wish you had a club and a spade.
