Thank you all for your kind words.

The wood insert is walnut burl.

The blanks is 6'6" #2/3 wt white translucent blank from the far east.

Very nice build Fango.  The color scheme blends very well. Excellent job.

 

My idea was to one day use a fiberglass blank that same color and use white silk thread that would totally disappear when finished. Use chrome style Lemke hardware and a light wood for the seat insert which would make quite a subtle statement.
