Just picked up a Heddon Premier #115 8 1/2 foot 2 1/2 ferrule.  The large male ferule is cracked and the stripper is crushed.  Wondering if anyone had any ideas on where to find a replacement ferule.  Also, I am not sure what the thread color is on this rod.  Thought it was gold but the underside of wraps looks more like a straw color.  Thanks for any help.

Try Rick's Rods in Denver. I don't have the URL handy but it pops right up with Google.

For the ferrule, take a look at the GoldenWitch Classic ferrules they offer or find a project rod or a displaced Heddon section that has a ferrule that could be used. I'd consult Sinclairs Rod restoration manual for the proper thread color.
