Hi all, I'm enjoying checking out the forum, particularly seeing all the builds coming through.  What's your favorite reel seat for under $30?  I'm gathering ideas for a new build.

Light rod grip style

Hi all, 

 

For all the lighter rods I've built I've used a cigar style grip.  I'm planning a 2wt build and got to wondering if there are other grip styles that any of you enjoy on 1, 2, or 3wt rods?  Thanks!


Inlet question

Thought I'd say hello.  I'm a hobby rod builder.  Maybe built about 20 fly rods and a couple of spincasting rods for kids.  Fish coldwater here in Colorado and warmwater when I travel.  Never done salt, but hey you never know.  Thought I'd join to see what's going on here, learn about building and suppliers etc.
