Here's a drawning of a 2 bar quad form that I saw some where but I haven't built one yet so I don't know if it actually works or not. Just something to play around with for those that have the time shifty.gif

Fly1!
A friend of mine and I both tried out these two bar wood forms and they work perfect. He used ramin wood and I used maple. I got a milled piece of 1' by 2 1/4 maple from a local lumber yard for 10 bucks, the hardware was 9 bucks & the whole thing went together in about an hour and a half. Use feeler gauges from lee valley to set them (18 bucks or so). I used a table saw to cut the 45 degree angle's. It's a bit of a pain fliping them over every few passes but who can argue with the price and simplicity of the design. Undoubtedly they would work just as well for penta's.

Sort of left wondering why I didn't do this sooner, thanks for the post!

Cast a Marinaro derived / quad built on these forms last night and it looked & cast great.
