My wraps got better as I was going along. I am going to re wrap the first guide tonight, and see if it comes out better.

Most of us have experienced that. :D  You'll be glad you redid a few....

Yeah man. I think I am going to cut them all loose tonight and re wrap them all. I am going to do black with a couple green trim bands. Maybe the darker color won't show my mistakes so much.

Dark is usually easier to use.  Why do you think most of the production rod manufactures always seem to be wrap with dark thread

Dark is usually easier to use.  Why do you think most of the production rod manufactures always seem to be wrap with dark thread

So, I cut them all loose and here's the first guide that I re wrapped. What do you think of this one??

You must stop your wrap earlier.
Your thread climb on the guide foot, you should stop before, the wrap must be flat.

The wraps that climbed up the foot are the Forham locking wraps.

The black hides the locking wrap.  Saw it when I looked a bit closer.  Nice wrap, BTW.
