..or you have another option ;)....

Extract from Wayne Cattanaxh's book:

"For some people, spending $650 or so for a set of forms may be the best route. But for others, the money may seem like a lot to begin a hobby that may not pan out. In retrospect I would have to say I fell into the second slot, though it wasn't just the money. It came to this: if you intend to hand plane bamboo to tolerances of .001'' - shouldn't you be able to file and stone steel to the same tolerances? So I built my own forms, with no access to a mill. I did it with the tools I had available in my basement."

Rsa, thanks for the suggestion. I wonder what he had in the basement though ;) some people have a lot... I should read his book before deciding, i guess

Eagle fly free,

you might want to ask Waldemar Novak:

http://www.flyfishingdesign.de/

He is a professional toolmaker and lives not too far away from Belgium.
Waldemar made me a few bits and pieces. He is a knowledgable man.

Cheers

Canesplitter, Thanks for the suggestion. Have you seen his forms? Do you use them? Do you know anyone who has them. Just wondering as I could not find many reviews. Thanks

Thanks Tim! I should not exclude Switzerland then :), might have to pick them up myself though.

I thought there might be someone in Germany (given their reputation in engineering ) who makes them :)

Any reviews of Daniel Hoda's forms?

Cheers
