Hey all, I haven't been on here in a long time since I haven't been building rods for a couple years.
I'm working on some ice rods and just bought some flex coat. Even though I was careful and make extra sure to buy the right stuff, i bough the epoxy instead of finish.
So no I need to buy some new stuff, but as I got to looking at the past rods I built I found that my finish was really thick. The guides I'm using are really small and the epoxy kind of ran down the guide foot and doesn't looks great (works fine though).
It got me thinking about using thinner stuff. The blanks bend/flex a great deal so I thought a thinner more flexible finish might be in order. What are you thoughts on the LumiSeal product?
