awesome....just awesome.
The bamboo reel seats are amazing, I just love them and think I may try something along that line for spinning and casting seats

Nice rods! Can you post a "How To" on the bamboo winding checks? Those are nice!

It is not easy to write with a rapidograph on the varnished bamboo, ..I know the writing quality is not the best. Thank you anyway Janot. I appreciate your comment.. smile.gif

Bamann345, the procedure is the same as making a hexagonal rod section. Of course much bigger. On these rods the outside diameter of the check is 15mm. After the glue has set winding check is finished/ turned on the lathe.. I also impregnated them with poliuretanic glue thinned with acetone.

The reel seats are very nice.

What kind of finish did you make?
Have you lathed hardware yourself?
