Went fishing over the weekend with my Brother for his birthday. We decided we wanted to really get away. He invited his buddy Luke and I invited my buddy Tramel. Fishing wasn't that great for three of us lol. But we saw some awsome country and hiked over 10miles. Saw tons of big fish but couldn't get them to play. My buddy Tramel just has that fish mojo all over his body and managed to catch 6 when the rest of us caught none. Here is a nice pic of his big boy for the day. The crazy part is that we saw fish way bigger. This was a new stretch of stream for us, so now that we know where they are at you can bet I will be back with tight lines in my mind.

Very nice! AZ? Beautiful brownie!

Thanks guys. I settled on 12.5in for the foregrip and 5.5in for the rear grip. I looked at my 14' #9 Winston and shortened things up slightly. Also, planning on using shorter heavier bellied Skagit style lines so keeping my hands closer together on the rod should work nicely. It might be several months but I'll post pics when it is done.

Had a fantastic evening on an English stream chasing wild brown trout last week. Here's a I shot whilst fishing:

I have this old glass rod I am refurbishing for students in our fly fishing club and rather than recorking it I would like to do a rattan wrap. I have checked at Michaels and Hobby Lobby here but have had no luck finding any.... Where do you all order it from? Thanks for the help...

If you have a Woodcraft nearby, you can find it there.
