Spent a couple days back up on the Au Sable with my fishing buddy Mark. Had a great time as always. Nothing overly big this time but some decent 12"-14" trout and a wide variety of species on the spey rod which was cool. Caught, browns, rainbows, smallmouth, largemouth and even a walleye all on the spey. Few trees along the river are starting to show fall colors, got my mind thinking about steelhead before too long

“If you say that getting the money is the most important thing, you'll spend your life completely wasting your time. You'll be doing things you don't like doing in order to go on living, that is to go on doing things you don't like doing, which is stupid. Better to have a short life, doing what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way." - Alan Watts
